Civilian Killed in Budgam by CRPF Jawan

What happened in Jammu & Kashmir’s Budgam district was not good at all. The valley is already facing criticism since long and locals and opposition always raised the military issues in Kashmir. In today’s incident, a civilian of Kashmir named peer mehrajudin shot dead by CRPF jawan in Budgam district when he tried to jump the two checkpoints in a sensitive zone.

According to the CRPF jawan, he warned him to shot still he did not stop the car and break the checkpoints. The guy was driving a Wagon R car broke a checkpoint of the Jammu and Kashmir Police on the Gulmarg-Narbal Road and sped away. He then came across another checkpoint of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), manned by troops of the 141 batallion, and jumped this checkpoint as well.

The car was driving in the wrong direction around 10:30 am at the same time a was passing through the adjacent road convoy of the Indian Army. The CRPF jawan who killed Mehrajudin Manning the checkpoints, as the Indian army already faced the Pulwama attack and a car was involved in it, so the military keeps more watch on such things especially when a convoy is passing from somewhere.

When the car didn’t stop, despite warning shots, the jawan fired at the car and in turn, the driver was hit on his left shoulder. He referred to the SMHS hospital in Srinagar where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors.

Well, what all happened was wrong but being a responsible citizen everyone should behave like a civilized person. Maybe after breaking one checkpoint he was afraid and sped up his car but if he stopped the car at the same time he could be alive.

The people started protesting against the Indian army and opposition parties also criticising the government as per their statement, the boy was entering his room, when he shot dead:
