Ari, Mencía and Patrick continue in Las Encinas, their father Benjamín is in prison for Samuel’s death trial. In Elite Season 6, Ari is dealing with Samuel’s death, Mencía is single, and Patrick has a complicated relationship with Ivan and trust issues. Isadora opened her new club in Spain, seeking justice after being drugged and raped in Ibiza. A trans character Nico also joined Season 6 and wants to undergo hormone surgery to do some cocky things.
If short if there is one word to describe Elite Season 6, it would be bored! Although the series raised some subjects like rape, transphobia, racism towards black people and physical abuse in a relationship. But their repersentation and setup in storyline is not suits well. Sometimes, it seems like makers unnecessarly dragging the drama.
Nico dumped Ari for being transphobic and in every scene with Nico, the makers want to remind us that he’s a trans character. You can’t see his normal character in whole series. Also, the scene of Isadora’s rape case is very poorly handled. In this teenage drama makers showing the things that rarely exists on that age and stage.
As the pattern set previous seasons, Elite Season 6 also filled with many parties, drinking and sex scences (Less than compare to previous ones). In this web seaons makers try to highlight the entire LGBTQ issue with Ivan’s dad Cruz’s character. But nothing is there that can impress the audience and fans of Elite.
These high school kids do everything except study. Series shows that they all are wealthy, always dress up like a fashion show and party every night. The yare confused about who they want to be with. At the end series ended with collectable of all the mess.
Coming to performances, everyone did justice with their character, they surely had fun playing teenagers who dance, sleep around and pretend to care about social issues. Everyone looked hot on the series and did whatever the script demanded.
Elite Season 6 Review: Conclusion
The Elite Season 6 on Netflix launched with some new faces but followes the same old drama, complicated love affairs and sex scandals. It seems like makers tried to sum up all the 5 seasons in this one. But as season 1 blown the mind of fans this season somewhat disappoints them.
